Minimalist photography

Today I tried to do some minimalist photography (which was also the weekend assignment of the photography class I am doing). It was a real and fun challenge to find some interesting things to photograph, leaving out other destractions as much as possible. Less is more!

    • Hi Nina, it is very easy to create such a white background at home, all you need is a piece of white paper. I used a A3 paper (twice as big as normal A4 format). Take the piece of paper and curve it gently (no folding!) till one half is positioned upwards. If you place the sheet of paper on the floor or at a table that you put against the wall and make the upright part resting against the wall. Now you can place an object on the paper and you will have a nice white background if you get close enough to the subject.
